Meet the Owner

Doug White is from Crossett, Arkansas. After High School he served four years in he United States Navy. While working in the Navy he developed a passion for building.

Doug's experience in the construction business goes back 25 years. He started in industrial commercial building, as a concrete finisher. He then moved onto steel structures and the rigging department with two of the largest construction companies in the Nation. His scope of work at this level included oil refineries, power plants and paper mills.

Doug moved to Louisville in 1980. He went to work for a power plant as a Union Carpenter. After 10 years of experience in commercial buildings Doug started a small company, Professional Contracting. In 1995 Doug incorporated his company and changed the name to WPC Company, Inc. White Professional Contracting now specializes in design build projects, metal buildings, roofing, industrial, warehouse, retail, and offices.

Doug's passion to build is what made WPC Company, Inc. the successful company it is today. With the desire and commitment that Doug White has, WPC Company, Inc. will only continue to grow and serve the community in the best possible way.
